DREAM STRINGS

DREAM STRINGS

Dream Strings

Delicate, dreamy threads that each of us - all of us - weave together to become our reality. These are baby steps we take to make our dreams come true...sending the email query, printing the photographs we hope to exhibit, or breaking ground on a replica of a sharecropper shack in Clarksdale, MS.

The tapestry of our dream life is woven with Dream Strings.

saving the good stuff

Why do I save my good stuff? Or my favorite things? Or new things? I've used my Lenox (Liberty pattern) china less than a dozen times. Way less, actually....And even fewer times for my crystal and once for Mother's Fostoria (Americana pattern) crystal.
Is it too much trouble? Am I worried that a piece will get broken?
Or, is that I just don't entertain that way? I'm much more of a paper plate (Chinet) kind of girl.
But Thanksgiving, when we gather at our house for the post-turkey-and-dressing-assembly, I think I will get out my beautiful, Lexox china plates - and my take and bake, Sam's pizza will never have seemed so special!
