DREAM STRINGS

DREAM STRINGS

Dream Strings

Delicate, dreamy threads that each of us - all of us - weave together to become our reality. These are baby steps we take to make our dreams come true...sending the email query, printing the photographs we hope to exhibit, or breaking ground on a replica of a sharecropper shack in Clarksdale, MS.

The tapestry of our dream life is woven with Dream Strings.

Weekend - full o' love!

What a delightful weekend we've had! Trae came in town again this weekend, after just being here last weekend to "babysit" -?- while we were in Las Vegas. (I'm also grateful to report I have heard from him, and he is safely back in Chattanooga.)
The weekend began with carry-out-home-cookin' from the midtown Piggly Wiggly. A bit ironic that the home-cookin' is cooked at our home, but nonetheless, he really enjoyed it. We visited till my bedtime, and Trae went to a movie with friends.
Anna Lynn decided to sleep between John and I that night. Between her horizontal boogie and the owl outside my window, little sleep was had. So Saturday was spent with a migraine, but that's o.k. as the days of her wanting to sleep with us are fleeting.
Valentine's included chocolate bars and several packages of 5 gum and rattling containers of Tic Tacs. Trae, John & I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Moffit's house, as Andrew was also in town. Fine people and I feel blessed to know them.
Sunday morning was spent finishing up Trae's laundry, conversations about dorm deposits for the fall, exchange programs, direction in school and life and what is next?
No answers, but listening. Just lots of listening to owls hooting at 4 a.m., and listening for direction.
