Surrender

I seem to find buzz words that re-occur, seeming to point me in the direction I need to go. For the past week, that word has been "surrender."
I was blessed to attend an AA meeting with a friend, who was celebrating an anniversary of sobriety. It was at this meeting that "surrender" was first noted.
Then, a day or two later, my Simple Abundance reading (11/30) was entitled The Loss of Control, with the following quote:
We are most deeply asleep at the switch when we fancy we control any switches at all. Dillard
And then in A Course in Miracles a few days after that:
Surrender means the decision to stop fighting the world, and to start loving it instead. It is a gentle liberation from pain. Williamson
